Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Description: 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

GLASSource – Grand Haven, MI

Glassource is a rapidly growing state-of-the-art glass fabrication facility looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to help guide and grow our maintenance department. This position is responsible for equipment uptime and reliability (including electrical, electronic circuitry, instrumentation controls, mechanical, pipe fitting). Hands-on trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining of equipment and systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair and improve equipment and operations processes.

• Perform preventive maintenance activities as required. (including instrument calibration, lubrication, replacing wear/consumable parts, inspection for wear, replace filters, calibrate and or align equipment, etc.)

• Perform predictive analysis /maintenance. (including test equipment, vibration analysis, thermal analysis, mean time between failure, lubricant analysis, etc.)

• Perform corrective and emergency maintenance activities as required.

• Improve equipment uptime and reliability.

• Maintain needed documentation to support maintenance.

• Ability to come in on a non-scheduled shift to support any major maintenance issue.
